Brandon McReynolds Looks To Make His Mark At World's Fastest Half-Mile In Thompson Metal 150
Brandon McReynolds has seen his father in action at Bristol Motor Speedway on a number of occasions. On Saturday evening, during the Thompson Metal 150 UARA race, he will get the opportunity to test his skills at the World's Fastest Half-Mile.
The 16-year-old McReynolds is the son of Larry McReynolds, a former NASCAR Sprint Cup Series crew chief and current racing analyst for FOX. The younger McReynolds will make his debut on the .533-mile oval in the Saturday Spectacular, an evening which consists of five races, including the Thompson Metal 150.

Pieces of McCarran airfield recycled into LVMS parking lot
Las Vegas Motor Speedway and McCarran International Airport are working together to improve the speedway's parking areas. The speedway is paving 40 acres, roughly 30 percent, of its dirt and gravel parking areas with "mill chips" that were collected recently when parts of the airfield at McCarran International Airport were replaced.

Atlanta Motor Speedway Turns to Fans to Find the Voice of Friday Night Drags
The Georgia Bulldogs have renowned play-caller Larry Munson, while the Atlanta Braves leave their broadcasting to hall of famers Skip Caray and Pete Van Wieren. Atlanta Motor Speedway is offering fans the opportunity to be the next great announcer from the Peach State during the track’s Friday Night Drags series this summer, calling all of the action during each night of racing.

Motocross Returns to Infineon Raceway This Weekend
Motocross racing makes its return to Infineon Raceway during the Kawasaki AMA Superbike Showdown, presented by Supercuts, May 16-18. More than 500 riders are expected for the event, which is hosted by Wine Country Motocross.
The hills behind Turn 7 will come alive with 30 classes of competition, with riders battling for a pro purse of $25,000. This marks the first motocross event at Infineon Raceway since 2002 (Sonomafest).
